Riga, Latvia–2021

Travel Items To Consider If Exploring Latvia:

Join me on A Road Trip In Latvia. We stop by a few scenic spots in Latvia on this European road trip, the main destination being Kolka, where we spend the night in a barrel along the beach. Is it a recommended experience when in Latvia? Hit that video play button, and let's find out!

Is Riga, Latvia a Must-Visit City in Europe? For me, the answer is a resounding yes and, in my opinion, one of the best cities in all of Europe. With time and help, I've learned that Riga and Latvia as a whole are worthy of more than a weekend. Still, with cities like London, Paris, and Barcelona taking the primary focus of many travelers, it's hard to dedicate vacation time to a low-key Baltic city such as Riga. So, the goal of this video is to give you a sample of the things you should see if you were to visit Riga for the weekend, perhaps even less. So, grab a beer, and let's go on a quick walking tour of Riga, Latvia. Cheers!

Cēsis is a 1.5-hour drive from Riga, and on today’s visit, we go exploring a castle and a Tiny House in Latvia. Cēsis is a city located in Eastern Europe and is one that is highly recommended to visit. Interestingly enough, a giant castle is the main reason for my visit, but at the same time, I opted to stay in my first Tiny House. Quite the contrast…

If you are wondering What To Do In Riga, Latvia? This video will help you out! Then, join me as I visit and explore Latvia's best museum: The Ethnographic Open-Air Museum Of Latvia, which might be one of the best in all of Europe as well!

Is MYBEER the Best Bar In Europe? If not, it's definitely at the top of the list for me. In Shooting A Promo In Latvia!, I discuss how I came across this place during my time in Latvia and some new experiences I've had in developing a creative flow when working with people who speak a different language.

Today I showcase a variety of points of interest in Riga, Latvia. The video also includes a series of aerial views of the city center that showcase the beauty of those locations. Riga, Latvia, has a lot going for itself and is one of my favorite cities in all of Europe! After watching this video, you might agree. Either way, I would love to read your thoughts and opinions about Riga and if you would ever want to visit?

Join me in exploring The Old Town Of Riga, Latvia. I visited Riga in 2019 and the old town was always busy with tourists, so much so you wanted to avoid it after the first visit lol. In today's video, I wanted to shine a light on what it looks like today.

Today I take you to the "top" one thing to do in Riga. Although this mission was brought on by something entirely different, I figured it was a good way to show you some amazing views of the city! There are so many activities to partake in when in the city of Riga, Latvia, but there is one activity that takes things to another level. Additionally, it only costs €6 and its nickname is Stalin's Birthday Cake...

In this one-month round-up video, I cover some of the activities that might not make it into their stand-alone video. They include visits to the bogs and castles of Latvia and other daily activities. I've been spending plenty of time outside of the main city of Riga, so come along on this European journey with me!

I describe What My Weekdays Look Like In Riga. This video was inspired by a book I'm reading in Europe. I go on to highlight my routine in Latvia that could help you elevate your travel game (it has for me over the years). I discuss coworking spaces, writing down your critical tasks, the importance of reading, and much more. I hope you enjoy the video and it positively impacts your life. Cheers!

When In Latvia, one does some gardening, hangs around a giant bonfire during midsummer, and visits a reflexology center that has one walking through rocks, dirt, and mud. Long story short, I'm glad I'm back in the beautiful country of Latvia and experiencing new things. As you will hear in the video, it was a bit rough along the way to get to Latvia, but the entry to Europe in 2021 was a success!

Join me as I begin mentally preparing for Europe in 2021. Before traveling to Europe from Los Angeles, I always start by spending as much time as possible with my friends and family. Additionally, there is one thing that I always try to do before a trip. If you are a fan of hiking and the LA skyline, you'll enjoy this one. The journey begins.

Understand: to accomplish YOUR goals, you must go at it alone. Yes, there are moments where the presence of others will intersect and benefit you (and vice-versa). Still, without having a thorough understanding of self to start from, it becomes far to easy to lose your path.

Ljubljana, Slovenia

Travel Items To Consider If Exploring Ljubljana:

I've never fully grasped the notion of burnout. I heard about it all the time in various places. Still, because I never put myself in that Entrepreneurial mindset, it never seemed real to me.

Today's Stoic reflection revolves around fear. There comes a time in everyone's life where fear takes hold of one's decision making. This is not the life or death type of fear, but the illogical version. The one that is debilitating and cripples us in achieving our goals.

Running when traveling is a great way to not only cover plenty of ground in a short amount of time but puts you in a position to discover new places around the area.

On July 7, 2015, my dad passed away. It was a four-year health decline that ended in the only way it could. It was one of the most tragic experiences of my life, and it is easy to reflect on the negative emotions of it all.

They say that with experience comes knowledge. The longer I stay in Europe, the more I'm learning about what to look for when booking an apartment or hostel.

Venice, Italy

Travel Items To Consider If Exploring Venice:

I decided to go on a weekend getaway to Venice, Italy. As many of you can guess, Venice is one expensive city to visit. After looking around a bit, I noticed a brand new hostel opening up from a high-caliber hostel company.

TRAVEL SERVICE: In this one-on-one European adventure, a Sidekick (me) helps you craft the travel itinerary of your dreams. I then meet you at the first destination and travel together for a total of 5, 10, or 15 days with your best interests in mind.

Riga,Latvia

Travel Items To Consider If Exploring Riga:

I spent 30 days in Riga, Latvia. It started a bit rocky, but I eventually found my footing. The things I saw, experienced and felt during my time in this country impacted me in profound ways.

Join this Mexican from Los Angeles as I bring in the holidays In the baltic country of Latvia. I travel from the capital of Riga to the countryside of Jaunpils to spend my first Christmas in Europe!

After a day of exploring, I stumbled onto some pre-midsummer festival activities at my favorite park in Riga, Latvia. I approached it intending to record the festivities and was pulled into the action.
Walking the Central Market in Riga, Latvia is always a joy. For those who have not had the opportunity to do so, here is a quick glance at the hustle and bustle of Riga's Central Market. Also, there are three different "free" walking tours in the city, I recommend them all, but if time is limited, do the Alternative Tour.
The plan was to ride out of the city center and head to the coast for a relaxing day at the beach. Securing a bike was not the issue, for my Airbnb came with a bike for me to use. My main concern was riding alongside speeding cars in a European city or any city for that matter.

I had the opportunity to explore Jaunpils Castle In Latvia which was built in 1301.

Riga, Latvia In The Summer.

It began with my flight from LAX to Stockholm, Sweden. Before the departure date, I did all that I could to avoid getting sick and did a pretty damn good job if you ask me. If I saw someone cough or sneeze, I fled as soon as possible.
The first chapter of my traveling career comes to a close, and the second one is ready to begin. To commemorate the moment, I put together a highlight reel of some of the places I have visited and been inspired by.

Los Angeles

I often hear that the primary reason many people do not travel is due to money. Now, it will be incorrect of me to say that that isn't a good reason, for travel can be expensive, but with a little effort (along with the technique I discuss in the video), anyone is capable of building and growing an impressive travel fund.
Come along with me as I make my way through the streets of L.A. and to some of my favorite locations in the city. From the Arts District to the Walt Disney Music Hall to the Central Public Library. Throw on the noise canceling headphones, grab a drink/joint and enjoy the ride.
Join me on my latest meet-up where I take Daisy on a walking tour of downtown Los Angeles. More specifically: to visit four angel wing murals by the artist Colette Miller scattered throughout the city. One element I didn't mention in the video is the importance of having somebody to take those memorable photos when visiting L.A.
Michael Jordan once said, "I practice as I'm playing in a game. So when the moment comes in the game, it's not new to me. That's the beauty of the game of basketball, that's the reason why you practice, so when you get to that moment, you don't have to think, instinctively things happen."
Join me as I partake in one of my favorite activities in the city of Los Angeles: hiking to the Griffith Observatory. Now, there are many different routes in the area, but the one I show you (and where to park) is the best one to go on if you want more of a local experience.
I love sports. Unfortunately, it has brought up some ugly emotions in me in the past, so I viewed this travel opportunity to practice the stoic philosophy that I have come to adopt. Also, my boys couldn't get the W, but they fought to the last second like champs. Go Hawks!
